Experience

Working with Kirsten

I often think some of the most beautiful photos come from natural, unposed moments so when it comes to my photography I like to make you feel as comfortable as possible so that you feel like you can just relax, be yourself and most importantly...have fun! Often this means just going for a stroll and having a chat while I sneakily take some candid shots of you! When it comes to any posed photos I am happy to direct you in what to do....but don't worry, this won't be anything over the top. I will always listen to my Client so if there is something you really don't want to do then I am very happy to oblige!  My aim is to tell your story through the art of photography, which is why we want them to be authentic to you.

FAQ

01. How do we book you for the wedding?

The easiest way to get in touch is by email or you can message me on either my instagram or Facebook page. We can then arrange a wee zoom call just so we can get to know each other a little bit and you can tell me about your plans for your special day! If you then decide I am the photographer for you, I will send out a contract for you to sign and then I just require a small non-refundable deposit to confirm, this deposit is deductible from your final amount.

02. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Of course I'd love to although I will ask that you cover all travel expenses on top of my usual rate please!

03. How do you handle family photos on the wedding day?

In a way that means everyone is comfortable and having fun but that still delivers lovely photos! For large Family photos I am happy to direct people where to stand, as for little Family members, I have 2 kids so I am very used to taking photos of little ones who may not want to stand still for long!

04. Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes! I would be happy to shoot your engagement, always lovely to meet engaged couples looking to capture their beginning of their forever!

05. Do we need to feed you?

You are definitely not obliged to provide a meal for me...buuut it is quite a long day on my feet making sure I capture all the best moments so a meal is certainly very much appreciated!

06. What happens if you are ill?

In the unlikely event (touch wood) that I become so ill that I am unable to carry on with my photography duties I will try my best to find another photographer to cover your day...if for some reason I don't find an alternative, a full refund will be issued.
